We came to Jun this past weekend and the menu has an extensive variety of options and everything we tried was AMAZING! The Szechuan dumplings and spicy cucumbers were very flavorful. We also ordered the Lazi Shrimp, Dan Dan noodles, Crispy sesame beef, and Farmers chicken. Each mouthful was delicious and the ingredients were well balanced. The service was top-notch and our server was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. The ambience was perfect for a relaxing evening out. I highly recommend this restaurant!

My girlfriends and I went out to Jun on a Saturday night. We over ordered but it was great to share so many dishes with friends. Our favorites were the Szechuan dumplings, cucumber salad and Chong Qing spicy Chicken. All of the food was amazing and I’d recommend bringing a couple people so you can share a wide variety! My favorite cocktail was the Lychee Dream! We were sat quickly, comfortable seating, it wasn’t too busy. Our server was quick, helpful and kind! I couldn’t ask for anything else!

Food is absolutely fantastic. The Xinjiang lamb was beyond amazing. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered, looking forward to trying more. So glad I found this place.

My boyfriend and I come here pretty regularly and if there is one thing you need to absolutely need to order it’s the Szechuan Dumplings. An all time favorite of ours here!

B+ food, C- service and C+ atmosphere. We ordered a few dishes, including Szechuan Dumplings, which were very tasty but not spicy in the slightest. The sauce they came in was sweet, which was surprising given their Szechuan name. Their wrappers were thick and soft but cold on the edges by the time they got to the table. We also ordered Xiao Long Bao, which unfortunately stuck together and to the steamer basket, so we lost the soup filling in four of the six that came with the order. They still had good flavor. The Chong Qing Chicken had the right level of Szechuan numbing spice. Overall, food was good but not excellent. The dining experience left a lot to be desired. There are QR code menus instead of real menus, but the codes are printed on peeling laminated sheets of paper that were sticky and dirty. Our server said we chose to order great dishes, which was nice to hear, but she disappeared for most of the meal. We could see her socializing -- and Facetiming -- with the rest of the wait staff on the other side of the restaurant for most of our dinner. When our food began coming out, we had no chopsticks, so we got up and asked the kitchen for some. Our server eventually returned once and seemed very surprised we had found chopsticks. Our bill had a 4% service fee on it that had no explanation, but I found on the website after paying that it's a mandatory employee benefit surcharge. JUN should simply raise menu prices by 4% instead of adding this tacky fee. Tables are tiny given the area required for this type of family-style ordering restaurant. JUN has good food and a trendy, buzzy interior, but it left me disappointed in the overall experience.

I was surprised I did enjoy many of the dishes. Menu is on the pricey side. I got the pan fried dumplings and a chicken dish. My group shared each other’s dishes so I got to taste a variety. Food came out very fast. But I must say, the waiters should be careful when placing or carrying the dishes because they spilled sauce to the back of my chair and I didnt realize it. A part of my back was sticky and wet when I leaned back. I was annoyed I had to go wash my top. I didn't make a big deal out of it since it was my aunt’s birthday. Not so ideal location. Parking was a hassle. The staff was nice overall. I just wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

Fun, industrial feel restaurant located in the north loop. The weather has been very hot and humid, and our bartender created a delicous, light, fresh cocktail-infused with cucumber and mint. The dumplings were worth the trip alone! The sesame chicken left a bit to be desired. It was slightly overcooked and too much batter.

I ordered the egg rolls and Dan Dan noodles. The food was okay. I couldn’t finish my noodles as the sauce was overwhelming & had an after-taste effect almost like mint effect. I lost my appetite. It was unappetizing to the point I forgot my leftover takeout. I wouldn’t come back.

Dre was amazing. Waitress seemed a little impatient with our questions about the menu. Tge Wonton soup, especially the broth, was the best tasting soup I've ever had in a restaurant. Digital menu was outdated, and a few items on the paper menu were out of stock. Owner seemed very nice.

I'm shocked to read some of these reviews, I have always found JUN to be truly some of the best szechuan in the entire Twin Cities. I don't know if it's the slightly higher prices, or the unique dishes but I have always found everything I've tried to be worth every penny. The Chong Qing Chicken is a definite standout so deliciously spicy with that perfect hit of szechuan peppercorn. They have a similar dish the Xiang La Wings they have this incredible chili oil hit that is perfection. The Szechuan Green Beans are the best I've had anywhere and I still can't figure out what is in them. The Spicy Szechuan Beef Noodle Soup was the most recent dish I tried and I was blown away, it is an absolute MUST try. Thank you for making incredible food and continuing to surprise my palate every time I eat here.

We came in last night. We liked the food, but we over heard our server complaining to another server (both white) that they had been sat with a black couple. And if that wasn’t bad enough, we noticed they were seating all the other black patrons with the one black server, even seating her back to back so black patrons were not sat with the white servers. So while the food was good, I don’t suggest this restaurant as it appears they have racially discriminatory practices amongst their white staff.
