Reservation was for 7:30. Sat down and ordered apps without an issue. Then the issues started. Our friend ordered a drink 4 times before it was delivered. Meanwhile the rest of our group all got our drinks fine. We all ordered food. Food came and almost everything was wrong. One in our party got his meal 25 minutes before the rest of us and it got cold while he waited. I ordered two sushi rolls which never came. They brought dishes none of us ordered. It’s now 9:30, 2 hours after we sat down and I was just asked if I still wanted my food or not when I told the server it hadn’t come yet. So I’m now headed home to have an actual dinner. Very disappointed cause I’ve been here many other times without issue
Worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. How would you forget something on a table, come back in a less than a minute and then they tell you oh, the cameras aren’t working?! How would you trust a restaurant with your food when their cameras which have been there for over a year aren’t working?
They guy who’d meet you at the door and check you in, he was the one who told me the cameras where not working, they are decorative. Think about that. I dined in five continents and when I told him: “I don’t believe that we’re in 2024, I left something valuable to me on the table and all you had yo say is the cameras aren’t working”, all he said was “ok”. Carelessly.
It’s disgusting to see an establishment that covers up for theft, I left something very valuable to me on the table and came back in less than 5 min and I called in less than 2 min but it seems like the cameras aren’t working, the “manager” just said ok. Do you really wanna trust people with your food when they’re not even trustworthy with anything else, when they have thieves among them and they cover for these thieves by claiming the “cameras aren’t working”.
Good luck.
I just would do my part by letting people know what they are about to get into on every platform.
Zeppelin is a place I frequent often. It’s always at the top of my list if I want an affordable sushi meal that doesn’t compromise on quality, atmosphere, and service. I enjoy their cocktails, especially the highballs at happy hour that become half price. Their chicken yakitori is unbelievably juicy and flavorful. I highly recommend the chicken thigh skewers as an appetizer. They must brine the chicken and then grill it quickly and to perfection in order to lock in the flavors. I am a vegetarian most of the time and I make exceptions for exceptional meats, and this is one of them. The sushi is buttery and fresh. No complaints there. Try the Negitoro roll. The cherry on top is their daily happy hour. I would love to see some food items on their happy hour, but I’m not disappointed with the current offerings that include half off highballs. I recommend the Monkey Magic if you love banana flavor like I do.
Decent meal, best item we had was wasabi garlic edamame. Chicken Katsu curry was ok, small size. Both sushi rolls were average at best.
Highly recommend doing the omakase if time permits. Pacing between each tasting was perfect. You are tucked away by the sushi bar and depending on how busy it is, it can feel like you are having a private dining experience.
