We had a great dinner here! Service was excellent! They were friendly and attentive. The steaks were quite delicious as were the sides. The loaded baked potato was amazing! The wine list is decent. Vegetarian options: Limited options Dietary restrictions: Probably Kid-friendliness: Not a place for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Excellent food, excellent service. Get the tomahawk steak.
We took a Christmas party of 16 and the food and service was top notch! We will go back again!
We were visiting our daughter and was looking for a nice fine dining spot. I’ll start with the pros. The atmosphere was great. Our waitress Lilly was absolutely amazing. She always had a smile on her face, tentative and answered all her questions. The chicken Elote flatbread, French onion, soup, and brussels sprouts were delicious. Now the reason we gave it a three star. The food was beautifully presented, however, almost everything we had was super bland. If only the food tasted as good as it looked. My husband got the ribeye steak and it for sure was the worst ribeye steak we have ever had. It was so tough to chew. We had to cut it up into miniature pieces. At $50 a steak with no sides it was quite disappointing. Neither one of us think it was actually a ribeye. It didn’t have the marbling you typically see in a ribeye and the texture and taste of a roast. We were given the option to order fries plain instead of truffle fries, which we did, and was surprised we were charge the same price. It was our fault for not asking. The beef stroganoff was well cooked but unfortunately lacked flavor. The burger was OK. It tasted like any other burger, definitely not a $22 burger. We think it would be a great spot for drinks and appetizers but would not return for a nice dinner.
Service was good but not great. We were the only ones at the bar and two other couples in the place but took a long time to get our food. Atmosphere was very nice. However food was mediocre at best. My husbands steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out well done, even crunchy. And very bland. My chicken was okay. Way too pricey for what you receive. $10 for a baked potato? Really?
I personally have never eaten here but it is in the building I work in and I have never heard one complaint.
Excellent food & service. Highly recommended!
Is no one from corporate paying attention to the clown that is managing this place now. The Woodfire in Dubuque USED to be a special place to go but now because of this dude the place has gone completely down hill. Wendy definitely turns the other way when guests complain about him. He’s a total joke. Not a people person and definitely should not be in a restaurant in the Midwest with his mentality
Went for our anniversary..always a nice atmosphere. We both had steak dinners very good. The Mexican corn was a surprising delight Parking: You would want to drop off persons with moving disabilities at front door of casino & then go park in the lot. Wheelchair accessibility: It is inside the diamond jo casino, so there is plenty of room for a wheelchair to get around.
