I was just at Walmart with my mother in law. She is elderly and used western union to get her rent check of 1000$. The GM of this store is a disgrace. The gentleman helping us should be the one running the store. He wanted to help us, I believe he was the night manager or evening manager. I had to contact western union FOR them because the gm's incompetence to help. It's like he just wanted to get home and could careless that my mother is out 1000$ ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS for her rent, she is going to get hit with a late fee on her rent now because everyone refused to contact walmart financial department to get authorization to release the 1000$ back to her!!. This is a pure and utter disgrace. The check printed out blank, this should've been taken care of promptly as we were there for 3 hours trying to come up with a solution. Western union TOLD the walmart employees to contact walmarts finance department to handle the issue right away as the check was voided, blank, and unusable. Walmart needs to fix this NOW!!. My mother can not wait 30 days or even 10 days to get her rent paid. In my eyes this is fraud, this is theft! On walmarts behalf. Like I said the store manager Coach MO could have and SHOULD HAVE handled this like a professional!. I am a manager for advance auto parts and we are partners with walmart. Anyone that comes into my store with an issue I help them promptly. I contact my corporate leaders to get the customers issue resolved SAME DAY. What a joke this guy is and this walmart is. What a lazy POS.
