Verf's Grill & Tavern

I like that this is family ownership and not a chain. I appreciate the season or changing menu and the fact that there is diversity as well as quality. The dishes are delicious and they aren't afraid to try things, have chef specials and holiday buffets or events. It is rare in today's world that there is a restaurant option like this.

Had graduation celebration dinner with family. Props to Angelina for being a great hostess and Kayla for the great service! Just had the best Brisket Steak of my life tonight!

Great place to meet with my Men's Pinochle group.

Food had good flavor, but that is where it stops. The fish and chips were extremely greasy. I had grease drip on the table as I took a bite. The fries were also greasy and not crispy. I ended up not finishing my plate, which is rare. After I left, there was an unfortunate trip to the restroom shortly after. The service itself was wonderful and it's a shame that the food did not do the staff justice. I'll not be returning.

Tried Verf's Grill and Tavern for the first time. Walking in was greeting very quickly and seated. Nice setup with a large bar. Lots of TVs for viewing. Had sports and news on which i liked for the lunch tine. Menu seems to have lots of choices. I went with the fish and chips. When served, the fish was perfectly cooked, super crispy outside, and hot, fresh Cod on the inside. The fries were spectacular. Super crispy outside just the way you want them. Everything was really good. The portion size was great, people suoer nice. It's just a great little spot to eat lunch. Was also served with hushpuppies that were delicious as well. Oh, and if I didn't say the fries, may be the best in town. I'll be back, and next time, I'm bringing the family for dinner and drinks. Highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed.

Great night with lots of friends! We had a large party - neighborhood gathering! Service by Juan was incredible! Food good! My only disappointment- in management, was that supposedly they were out of the Happy hour wine - well that is not not my fault or problem- pour anything in the same varietal - and charge me the HH price!! You know you have open bottles you need to polish off!! Come on I have worked in restaurants for 45 yrs. You have the ability!!

Amazing food and service. Love the parmasean garlic french fries. Stuffed shrimp was delicious. Everyone was so friendly!!

We had a large group of 40, and they did an excellent job of accommodating us.

While the 7 appetizers, multiple top shelf drinks and services were fine. The server was polite and friendly, we were run off by some patrons that were in my opinion entitled and rude, their basis was that we were looking at them. Management was called and we decided rather than have the rest of the night ruined by entitled rude, nasty and arrogant people we took our business elsewhere. Unfortunate that this place would rather have these types of patrons. We won’t be back and neither will any of our friends and acquaintances. Btw some our group has been there several times including last 2 nights never to return. - I want to add that the owner reached out to me and we discussed our dissatisfaction and the events of the evening in a totally professional manner. I will be recommending Verf’s as a place to get good food and drinks. Great meeting you Jim. Looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing food. Overall five star place to spend quality time with friends and family

My wife's cousin lives here and we love this place. There is truly not a bad thing they make. The food is phenomenal and the porkchop steak is outstanding. You also have to try the smoked old fashion. Much love y'all from Louisiana.
