Great food and service. They are very accommodating to food allergies. It is usually booked in the dining room on busy nights so make a reservation if you know in advance but they have first come first served bar service as well. Dietary restrictions: They made a special combination of entree and sides to accommodate my many food allergies, they were so helpful and it tasted so good!

Everything to love nothing to hate here. Service is outstanding, drinks are lovable, food is amazing and desserts delicious. We shared the Fried Green Tomatoes, I had the trout, my friends the Salmon and The Ribeye. All four we recommend! For dessert we enjoyed -shared- the warm Bread Pudding. I will definitively come back for a special ocasion!

I made requests to see what would happen and to put it in this review. First, I had a great experience and the food was delicious! Tye food is fresh and presented beautifully. The service was standard; no complaints. There is no designated parking but street parking is free after 6. One of my guests were told that the lot across the street was available though all the spots were marked ‘reserved’. Everyone I interacted with was very helpful and kind! It’s an intimate yet homely atmosphere. The menu isn’t particularly large so I wouldn’t suggest bringing anyone that is a picky eater or the “chicken nuggets and fries no matter where we eat” eater. I went to celebrate my birthday. As an earlier review stated, they do not do any gestures for birthdays. No table decor or dessert. I think this is a common issue as the server even suggested other fine dining places to try that do birthday gestures. (The ones he suggested offer both table decor and dessert) So if you are wanting to celebrate anything at Undercurrent, if you have decor and cakes delivered beforehand, they will take care of it for you!

This is one of the top 5 restaurants in all of Greensboro. I have not been in awhile but my wife and I returned again today. (12/17/23) The food was incredible and the service was AWESOME!! We will be making a point to go back more often! LOVE this place!
