I ordered pasta carbonara which typically comes with peas. It was absolutely overloaded with onions ( literally a massive portion) which I do not like. It would have been good if they pointed out on the menu that it is made differently than traditional carbonara. There were so many onions in the dish I had to discard it which is annoying.
A lovely gentleman took care of us, excellent customer service. The food was delicious, my mother has celiac and other food intolerances, she had plenty of options to choose from. I had their prosciutto panini, it was yummy. Highly recommend!
Ordered takeout from here. The penne alla vodka didn’t have enough sauce. You can get better pasta in other restaurants. Granted it was a few dollars cheaper than the other restaurants.
Wow wow wow! Came here on a Saturday night, looking for a calm & nice environment for a date night. We were greeted by Dennis, he was truly amazing . Made his suggestions which we listened and didn’t disappoint! Very friendly , personable and attentive . Pasta was amazing and so was the tiramisu! Loved it here!
A very solid restaurant. The complimentary bread was a LITTLE stale, however the marinara sauce dip was very good and I overall enjoyed it. We didn’t get any appetizers but I ordered the cacio e Pepe, which I thought was incredibly delicious. The serving size was very big, especially for a heavier pasta, but I was very happy to bring home the extras and eat them the next day. The price was very fair for the serving size as well which was great. My friend ordered a gluten free margherita pizza , and absolutely loved it. The service was also amazing!
We had a good food experience at the restaurant. For us service was surprisingly fast and food was great. Portion size for pasta or entree is sufficient per person. Lobster Ravioli and Gnocchi Pasta (we added breaded chicken on top) were star dishes.
The only complaint we had was, they don't have a changing station for infants. So, kind of painful if you are traveling with a little one.
Overall okay. We had some really delicious appetizers and very meh entrees. The entrees were a bit on the bland side with underwhelming ingredients. The fish was advertised as being "seared", but tasted like it had been seared and then baked based on how dry and hard it was. The salad was lame. Shrimp and calamari appetizers were very good.
Seating is fairly plentiful with seating both indoors and out (this review being written in the summer). One problem with outdoor seating is the traffic on Bedford and Forest which is pretty nonstop and can include plenty of trucks. Service was very professional. Might come back again to try the drinks and have appetizers only.
Great food. Friendly service. I felt a bit claustrophobic in the dining room as it is small.
Absolutely!! Super bad food.
Food is okay here in taste, but good quantity. I think the bread would've tasted better if served with butter or oil/seasonings/parmesan. Service was great! It's a little loud inside on the first floor and the second floor has no air conditioning.
This place was great for a quick drink and bite to eat before a show at the theater.
I ordered a fettuccine for takeout and was utterly disappointed. The pasta was undercooked, practically raw, and there was barely any sauce. It was so dry that lifting the fork felt like lifting a brick because the pasta was so dry and undercooked that it clumped together. The bread accompanying the meal was dry and hard, as if it had been sitting out for hours. And despite specifically requesting Parmesan on the side, it was nowhere to be found. This lack of attention to detail and overall poor quality of both the pasta and accompanying items made for a truly disappointing dining experience.Definitely not worth the money
