The Third place is situated right opposite the local theatre, perfect location. The restaurant sits above the main street so there are a few steps to overcome and u You may need to book a table as its very popular. We've been several times and the food and service is always excellent. Just minutes away from the town and river views. On our latest visit the food seemed to have too much colouring and a slightly charred flavouring. It maybe we're used to another of our favourite restaurants. We will return as we thought the service very good. Parking: Plenty of parking at the nearby Frankwell carpark where you don't pay after six.
First and last visit i'm afraid. Service wasnt great, ordered drinks that were forgotton by the waiter so we had to order a second time. Food is average, no real depth of flavour. Unfortunately for us the lady on the next table to us started vaping half way through her meal, I think she was quite intoxicated. Not a pleasant experience at all. There needs to be a lot more organisation, the waiters really were very poor i'm afraid.
Awful. Very poor service and food.
Check your bill, I was there this week. And it's the third time in a row...... they regularly overcharge and add it up wrong...... That said, the food is good
Look at the colour in chicken. I don’t think I need to say anything more.
Me and the wife had a lovely meal really great food would highly recommend.. definitely be back
Don’t think I have ever felt so intimidated. I was talked to like a naughty school boy and told to sit as I was trying to order a drink as I waited for my take away. Asked for coke and was offered Pepsi so I said no thanks then the owner or manager came and held out a bottle of coke and said in a very mean manner “is this good enough for you” then proceeded to berate his staff in front of customers. If the food was amazing I maybe would not have left this review but I felt very awkward waiting for my food after this and just wanted to walk out.
Been going for the last 3 years, Always great food and service. I nice shake of the hand from all the staff, Really good hospitality. Highly recommend if you have never been before. Kid-friendliness: Treated my kids with the respect as you would an adult.
Excellent on all fronts, no complaints at all. Restaurant it up a flight of steps so probably unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Parking: Parking is not far away... The local council car park. Free after 6pm and on Sundays. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly, it's upstairs and I didn't see a lift
