This is such a super restaurant. Small but perfect!! We enjoyed a birthday celebration here in the back room and had a wonderful time. Food and service were excellent, it has a lovely atmosphere and is reminiscent of the best small European cafes and restaurants.
Sadly I asked for a cafe au lait and expected a French cafe au lait but was given a small americano with probably cold milk in it. Otherwise it was good but expensive for a single course lunch. Staff were lovely.
Lovely restaurant and beautiful food, friendly attentive professional staff. Reasonably priced for the quality. Got busier later but the floor space is well laid out so not a problem but a good indication of its popularity. Highly recommend a meal here. Worth all the 5 stars. Will be back, well done to everyone working there.
I loved this place. Warm and ambiant. Staff were great ,food was amazing. I'll definitely be back.
Once included in Michelin guide, Rabbit hole still offer the pleasant food. The restaurant gives me the sense of coziness not private but still relaxing. The complimentary bread and the dipping sauce is nice. The star for me is the Scottish border roe deer. The meat is very succulent and tender combining with the sauce I couldn’t smell any unpleasant flavors from it. Quite recommended The seafood plaice and mussel dish is creamy and flavorful as well. All the main dishes don’t come with side dish so you need to order things to combine the dish Its French fries is the cheapest choice and it’s ok. The interior is great and the toilet is quite impressive, and it’s not far from the meadows. I think you won’t disappoint coming to try this restaurant.
Food is great, but very slow though. After the starter, took 50-60 minutes to serve the main.
Took my wife for Mother’s Day last Sunday. The menu was creative, the decor imaginative and subtle, the waitresses all very friendly and efficient, our table nicely appointed and the background music was exactly right for this bistro style restaurant. The food was delivered in good time and very enjoyable. Would rethink the homemade ketchup with Beef Carpaccio (overpowering - some things are best left traditional) but not so much to reduce the 5 stars we have given. Is dog friendly too which is important to us. Highly recommend this Grange/Meadows neighbourhood restaurant and will certainly return. Shame they don’t open every Sunday. Adrian, Catherine and Fudge .
