The Jerk Joint Jamaican Restaurant

I ordered the jerk salmon. I requested that the salmon be cooked med. The salmon was as dry as an over-fried chicken breast. I called, asked for the salmon to be redone, I brought plate back to the restaurant. The lady at the counter took a look at it and said it wasn’t dry- she cooked it herself. She didn’t even put a fork to it to test it. She then stated that I must have wanted the salmon raw. She refused to fix it and she offered no refund. I left the plate at the restaurant and took photos. My bank will give me my money back. I gave that rude awful cook every opportunity to fix it. Bad food and bad service! For the cook/counter person’s education: The last photo did NOT come from the jerk joint. It is a photo of what med cooked salmon ACTUALLY looks like as purchased from the restaurant I went to after I left that DISGUSTING Jerk Joint salmon at their counter.

Not sure what everyone is talking about but the jerk chicken / Mac / collards were delicious

I love the Jerk Joint…the food, the vibe, the service…it’s all wonderful. I have had 3 parties on the patio and each time, the Jerk Joint did not disappoint. At my latest party…we had Patties, Jerk Chicken, rice and peas, plantains, and Shrimp Rasta pasta…everything was delicious and the owner was very helpful. I closed my eyes and I thought I was in Jamaica❣️✌ Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids. They have items on the menu that are not spicy (Mac n cheese etc). There’s no alcohol served…very family friendly restaurant

The red velvet cake is literally so good!!!! The food is nicely prepared in general, but the red velvet cake is my favorite.

My second time trying this carribean spot and if I could give a review without a star I would. I am a food conessouir and critic. The lady was nice enough to refund even though they have a sign that says they don't do refunds. The chicken was old bit the lady told us it was fresh because she had cooked it the other day. Not sure what the other day meant but I wasn't trying to find out and get sick. I would recommend that you read the reviews as there were not many good ones.

I just spent $30 on trash...i have no problems paying whatever the cost for a good meal, but this oxtails were NASTY and should not be served. Especially to people that come from the Caribbean. Horrible!!! NEVER AGAIN.

Food was disgusting. I ordered the dinner Oxtails, chewy, no seasoning. Not even the browning or gravy. Service was trash as well!! WASTE OF 27.01 I love supporting small & black own businesses. But this place isn’t it. If you’re reading this don’t do it…

I ordered the jerk chicken tacos and they were AMAZING!!!! 5/5 definitely recommend!!!

I ordered Chicken soup it was cold,had more food than liquid,no noodles not to mention pumpkin. Price for a small was $9 which was ridiculous. Server had my spoon on the table without being wrapped in a napkin. Your price is too high and the taste of your food is not what it’s suppose to be…you can’t serve a real Jamaican that quality of food. Will not be going back to that restaurant.
