Great place for local ice cream. There's always something new to try.
I love the variety of vegan flavors but the size of one scoop has decreased while the price has increased about 50 % over the last few years. I know everything is going up but if I can't get more than a couple bites of ice cream for $4, I'd just rather go to the grocery store and buy a pint or larger for around that same price.
Best Ice cream ever and sweetest shop too! Dietary restrictions: So grateful for the sugarless dairy free ice cream!
Standard flavors, maybe they're more limited in the winter. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Vegan options are just ok also, they lack the creaminess of other vegan ice cream places I've tried and flavors aren't as bold. This place is just ok
Tons of vegan and gluten free options and a variety of milks makes this one of the most diverse ice cream shops I’ve been in. The vegan ice creams could be more creamy and flavorful, but I will be back to try the others!
This is the goto place for local icecream, also has vegan icecream.
Milkshake was incredibly rich and flavorful, staff was very pleasant. Will come back if I pass by :)
My wife and I love The Hop. So much so that we eloped on the back porch and had planned on their icecream instead of cake for our family ceremony before COVID cancelled it. They have plenty of options for varying dietary restrictions and about half their offerings at any given time are dairy-free. All icecreams are clearly labeled with what allergens or sensitivities they contain. Some of our favorites over the years: Dairy Free chocolate beet Mocha oreo Strawberry (made with fresh local strawberries usually) Any coffee/espresso flavor really Almost all of their chocolate base ones The people who work in there are also always friendly and helpful.
