Really nice spot for brunch/lunch.
After walking throughout Williamsburg for a bit we decided we'd grab lunch in the area. We weren't sure what was open but we just happened to walk by the butchers daughter. They had an outdoor dining area that had covered huts for patrons to enjoy. Given that it was 35 degrees or below that day we gladly opted for this option. I've been to this restaurant's location in the city but this was the first time I was dining at their Brooklyn spot. Just like in the city this place prides itself on a menu mainly focused on really healthy options. If it's not vegan, its organic which is appreciated! When it came time to order I decided to go with the winter BLT ($16). This classic sandwich had definitely been spruced up with the addition of adzuki bacon, wine braised onions, and a spicy mayo that gave it the slight kick it needed. Overall this chain seems to know what they're doing when it comes to making bomb healthy dishes. If you're looking to enjoy well made and mainly plant-based dishes l'd look no further than the butchers daughter in Brooklyn or in the city.
We loved our waiter, Sam! Vegetarian options: So good!
A disappointing experience. The wine I ordered “was not chilled” so unavailable. The cheese plate had old-tasting cheese on it. The service was subpar. Wanted to love it, I’ve had great experience here in the past, but afraid it’s not so good anymore.
Horrible service such a nasty attitude always, the food is always a hit or miss, not consistent with the quality. Yesterday the food got me so sick. I noticed how at the end of dinner the waitress didn’t even ask how the food was. This place is soooo overrated.
I love this place!!!!!!! Food is amazing but really coming back for the service. The team here are super kind and helpful - Sam is amazing and he always goes out of his way to make the experience special.
