Excellent German style beers (even an Alt, which you don't see often). They do have some non-German styles, but we didn't try them. They have a limited menu, but most days have food trucks (see their website). You can also bring your own food. Nice patio.
The coconut guava sour beer was so delicious!
Some of the best beers, service and outdoor seating. Its a must go to spot, especially during spring. I've never had a bad experience here, everyone is kind, friendly and most importantly the drinks and beers are phenomenal.
Awesome beers on tap brewed in house and options to get them to go. Beer hall style tables although it can be tough to get a spot for groups when it’s peak times. Not a huge deal when it’s patio season though which is a huge draw! Patio games available as well as fire pits. They even have an event room through the main brewing room and I actually suggested it to my manager for an event and it was a big hit! Had plenty fast wifi, a large projector television so we could hook up zoom on the big screen. Dog friendly patio. Parking is usually pretty tough to find. But they often or almost always have a food truck out front as well as their own small snack menu.
Best brewery in Utah! **have the best selections of lagers in town** GO NOW :)
Jack is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He happily shares his wealth of knowledge and it doesn’t hurt that all the beer is phenomenal. The glassware is curated to the beer styles and beyond Jack all the staff are friendly and welcoming. This brewery is a must visit!
Arguably, Utah's best brewery. The beer is always on point, the staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is lively, and the fire pits on the massive patio help keep you and your four-legged friends warm on a brisk evening (yes, they're dog friendly!). Keep an eye on their IG account (@tfbrewing) to find out what the new new is, and plan your trips accordingly - releases usually happen on Fridays. Cheers!
Love coming to this brewery! Lots of beer options, tons of games, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The bathrooms are really clean, which is a weird thing to say but they're noticeably very clean/nice for public restrooms.
Hands down this is one of the best breweries in the US and certainly in SLC. That being said, they did everything to push people out early. Like 1 hour before close early. I know this because, being from out of town, I asked what time they closed so I knew when to leave because: courtesy. They said 10 PM with last call at 9:30. They took our last order at 8:25ish and after waiting 15 minutes we had to ask for the beer we could plainly see had been poured and waiting. At first we thought maybe there was a weird Utah law about how many drinks you could have in 3 hours or that the keg was kicked - though we watched them give folks their shift drinks. Plus the bar and patio were mostly empty. We were hoping to get some beers to go but at that point we heard someone say last call - at 8:50 and decided to bounce. I get it - fk work, but it would've been nice to have had a moment's peace and a great beer after driving 3.5 hours to get to this place. If you're pressed for time and think this is a good late night stop, I would think again.
I dig the vibe. Mixed crowd. Gets busy in afternoon. Brews are .
