I was looking for a taco shop that was more authentic and I heard about this place. Glad I stopped and gave it a try. The location is a little iffy and I probably would have missed it if I wasn't using my maps. But if you can find Maverick it's just acrossed the street to the southwest. Now that I found it, it will be easier next time. The lady at the register spoke very little English, This made me feel as though this place is the real deal! Based on their menu They are pretty popular for their Tortas. They offer a big variety of meats when it comes to them. The tacos they offer are authentic, Chuleta, Pollo, Asada, Suadero, Chorizo and Pastor. They are all the same price $3.99. At first I thought that was a bit pricey for a single taco. I ordered the asada, chorizo and pastor. When the tacos finally came to my table I realized REAL QUICK how big these tacos are! Each taco comes with two corn tortillas. You can easily make two tacos out of one order. They are VERY generous with their meat, They also top their tacos off with onion and cilantro and provide you with a red and green salsa & limes which taste amazing. That was when I realized what they are charging is well reasonable. You can order three tacos and easily make six out of them. My favorite was the chorizo, it had amazing flavor. The asada taco was just that, still really good. I was a little surprised with the pastor as usually this taco has great flavoring but found their meat to be a bit dry and the flavor was lacking just a bit. It was still good, and I would order it again. I definitely will be back, next time I will try a torta. There wasn't anything special about the restaurant itself plenty of space for a lot of people They also offer outdoor seating when the weather gets better. I can only imagine how packed it gets on a summer night. Parking: Not sure if there's parking in the back but it looked to be limited on the sides of the building.
