Not really a big wine drinker but the place has a really nice ambiance. We tried two cheese boards and the chocolate cheesecake and the lamp chops. The cheesecake was pretty good. The wine was great, tried Lambrusco for the first time. I think it’s now my favorite wine. The aesthetic is great, the stone plates are very nice. The cheese boards were good but nothing special. In my opinion not enough of the dried fruit and nuts. Tried also the prosciutto board, and it was alright. Can’t go wrong with prosciutto in my opinion. The service was good but two of the servers seemed very upset in general which was a little damaging to the experience but I understand maybe they had a rough night as the place was full. Either way, I do recommend this spot !
Wonderful selection of wine. Got the Brie BLT with homemade tator tots, very tasty. Super cute atmosphere, I will be back!
Cheese plate would be better.
Food was okay. There was a dead flea or fly in my water. The waitress did not check on us more than once after they took our initial order so we couldnt tell them about the fly. After they brought our second round of drinks the waitress dissapeard for the remaining 2 hours we were there. They never offered to refill our drinks. But continued to provied the table next to us with an endless supply of beverages as they became rowdier and rowdier and started screaming -- visibly highly intoxicated. I was not impressed by the wait staff or their management of highy intoxicated individuals. I wish it was a better experience so i could have enjoyed my wine and food. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all Wheelchair accessibility: Theydid not have seating on the bottom so they took us "upstairs" two flights to an upper lounge, not suited for anyone with mobility difficulty
Terrible service and a terrible environment, we went here to meet some friends and were seated on the upper level. From the moment we sat down we could tell that there was something off. Sitting adjacent to us were a group of middle aged people who were clearly enjoying themselves. As we got our first round of drink they had escalated to screaming nonstop like a group of teenagers, which only seemed to get louder as the night dragged on. To compound this further, the server simply stopped offering us any beverages after the second round, taking our glasses without saying a word. Meanwhile this same waitress kept feeding the loud and obnoxious table more and more alcohol. Overall, this experience was bad, the wait staff were rude and seemed to get angry anytime you tried to ask for something and the inability or unwillingness of management to deal with screaming guests who were clearing annoying multiple groups of patrons took it over the edge.
I've only been to this fine establishment about a billion times, so I figured it's time to give it the proper review it's been needing. Where to begin? Well, first off, if you're looking for the absolute most perfect date spot or a place to chitchat with your closest friends over drinks, then look no further. I've seen this place go through a number of staff changes (RIP the greats—you know who they are), so nowadays, you're left with newbie servers who need to get up to speed on what's on the list (although, in a post-'vid world, I don't judge as harshly here). If you know what you're shopping for, though, you're in good company, as Denise has cultivated a delightful list that won't leave you wanting for anything more than another bottle. The ambiance (and hopefully the folks you're drinking with) is the part that will make you stay for that second or third bottle. The rooftop is one of the best places to be in the summer, and if you can catch their Jazz night on Wednesdays, you'll end up staying till close. Cin cin!
