Great menu whatever you get, service could be better, they lack when they are busy, but overall very good.
Love the food and service
When we arrived at the Royal Sushi Bar, there wasn’t any hostess, but the bartender advised us that we could sit anywhere and a server would be with us shortly. On the outside you can’t really tell it’s a Japanese restaurant, however when you walk in the atmosphere was completely different. The Japanese art was very unique and lifted the atmosphere on the inside. You can tell their designer took their time to create this look! Once we were seated our server Mathew was very polite and even assisted us with picking items off the menu. During this time unfortunately one of our original items we picked wasn’t available, but he surprised us with a delicious Japanese tuna ceviche. We couldn’t finish all of the dishes we ordered so we took some to go. Overall all it was a delightful experience to dine there, it a must try when you go to New Orleans! Vegetarian options: There are a few in the menu. Dietary restrictions: The server asked if we had and to ensure he assisted. Parking: We were able to park on the street side of the building close to the restaurant.
Quality food, great service.
The server Martin(i) was excellent! He was nice and well-mannered. He offered specific items and drinks according to my family and my needs. The food came out almost as quick as we ordered. I ordered spicy tonkotsu with beef, shrimp, and kimchi. My brother ordered the same with BBQ pork black garlic and shrimp. We also ordered the white ninja sushi, tchoupitoulas roll, scallop roll, and the hello kitty roll. We couldn't finish it all. The drinks were also good. I would suggest the pink lady with a side of lemonade (which was suggested by Martini); it did NOT DISAPPOINT ! The white peach sake was also good on the palate If you're in the Marigny area, the French quarter or in New Orleans in general, don't think about it, JUST GO!!!
