El Patron Mexican Grill & Cantina

El Patron was a nice surprise for authentic and delicious Mexican food! Being from Texas, I wasn't expecting to find a hidden gem like this in Southern Louisiana! We did the cajun seafood thing the first few days and wanted something else. The food was delicious and the margarita was great! If we ever come back, this is a must for mexican food again.

I have been to this place a couple of times the atmosphere and service are excellent, I enjoy some of the dishes here but my favorite one is Tacos de asada. I highly recommended you won't regretted just got to find your favorite dish. I enjoy food with spicy salsa and they have a really good one.

I had a shrimp Burrito not that great sauce had no seasoning and shrimp was just put in it not seasoned just not good the only good thing was I left my Bank card and it was there when I called

Estimated wait. 30 minutes Actual wait? Maybe 10. Service... excellent and fast. Didn't wait more than 10 minutes for the food either. Mariachi band and singers were amazing

Nice decor Great service Delicious Fajitas!!

Me and my bestie just had dinner here for the first time and from the moment we walked in the door it was warm and welcoming and music was fun and upbeat. The server came to us promptly for drinks and to get us chips and salsa which was good. We order the guacamole appetizer to start; which was the BEST guacamole I have EVER had! Then we ordered our entrée; i have the Carne Asada and she ordered the chicken fajitas and I also ordered the tamales. The food was out to us hot and fresh and beautiful in like 10-15 mins, and when I tell yu this was some of the best Mexican food I have EVER eaten!! Everything from beginning to end was absolutely amazing!! I would recommend this place any day to everyone!!

Great Mexican food loved the fajitas dishes and they have some best steaks I have every tasted. Also they have moved to a bigger and better location same great food the fajita's especially three meat are the best.

Best mexican food I have tasted in Louisiana. Molcajete dish was awesome.
