Had some sushi and Lychitini-ilyx absolute vodka was extremely smooth! Very yummy!!
This could be a great Sushi Lounge. They need to fix their dining reservations. We made dinner reservations and still had to wait 20 minutes. We ended up eating dinner at the bar.
If you want a club vibe while having sushi then this would be your place. There are so many other higher quality sushi places in Elk Grove with much better service. Specialty rolls are $25 and most are spicy versions. Standard rolls are $20. Drinks run about $15. The fish quality was good on some and terrible on others. Nothing was great. One roll was so bad we didn't even finish it. The service wasn't great considering how much we were paying for the meal. If I took the entire experience and summed it up I'd say I felt like I was eating at a casino.
We had a larger party for dinner Saturday night and the food was phenomenal. Some of the freshest fish around (and you can tell). The Philadelphia Roll had smoked salmon on the top that was so buttery and smoky. The fried jalapenos with Dante’s Inferno were good on the side and on the roll itself. Only issue was that some of the rolls took much longer to come out than others.
As I drove down the street, I came across what appeared to be a typical neighborhood sushi place, but upon entering Sushi Raw, I was transported to a world of culinary excellence. The friendly staff welcomed me with open arms, and the exquisite aroma and visual opulence of the restaurant left me awestruck. The place was quickly filling up, but I was able to find a cozy seat by the bar. I eagerly ordered a plate of California rolls, and to my pleasant surprise, the chef offered me a sampler of different sauces to accompany my order. The presentation of my food was a masterpiece, and the flavors were nothing short of extraordinary. The decor of the restaurant was modern and elegant, making it perfect for groups or a romantic night out. I must say, Sushi Raw is undoubtedly one of the best sushi places I have ever experienced.
Fun and clean environment… food is good, Bri the bartender makes great green tea drinks.
Loved the atmosphere here and the service was great. Probably some of the freshest sushi I’ve ever eaten. I tried the Dante’s Inferno Roll and the Gambler which was the chef special.
This was my first time coming here for Valentine's Day. It was packed and also on a rainy day. However, my husband and I got lucky and sat at the bar and so we didn't have to be on the waiting list to wait 45 mins to an hour long to be seated at a table. The place is very nice and the staff were all very nice too. The bartender was great and took care of us and everyone one around us. Came to check in once in awhile too. Even though it was so packed, they were all very great and did a wonderful job. There was music and one kitchen sushi bar area too. We ordered two cocktails and they were delicious. We also got some sashimi, jalapeno calamari, and a shrimp deep fried roll. Everything tasted great. I would recommend coming back here to taste more food and with a bigger group too. I had a good Valentine's day here with my husband. Also, it was kind of hard to take photos on my phone of my food sitting at the bar with all the lighting. Btw their water they give you to drink, it has a funky taste in it. So I'm not sure if it always tastes like that or maybe just today. But it tasted very odd and not refreshing. That was the only thing I would complain about.
