Best sushi in Shasta County, for whatever that’s worth. Their lunch specials make this a place to put on your rotation with the Chinese joint down the street and eating at home. Yup, should be included in the best of Redding. The vibe is Sacramento cool (they awkward) but the sushi is fresh and spicy as you want it to be. Recommend the spicy gyoza. Will be going back this week.

Sushi is great!! Highly recommend! I got here twice a month minimum and just for myself I spend maybe $70 for sushi and a drink and that's during happy hr which is from 3pm-6pm every day!.and that's alpt of sushi for $70!! Super good food. Staff are a little slow sometimes but I think it's because they're under staffed! 3/21/24 update Still a great place for sushi! Other food is great too! Wagyu burger is fantastic and the puffy tacos are great! Only down fall is that the restaurant doesn't know what it wants to be? A bar, sushi bar or just normal restaurant. The bar area is always loud and has obnoxious people and majority of people just want it to be quiet. Something should be done about the high level noise. Other than that always good experiences!

My wife had the filet and shrimp with steamed vegetables. I had the special which was lobster crab fettuccine. We started with apps which were my wife's favorite part of the meal. She quite enjoyed them as did I. She had the scallops as I had a spicy tuna roll. My wife's dish came nicely presented. The steak was perfectly cooked however My wife was slightly disappointed that it wasn't grilled however I found it to be quite tasty. The shrimp on the other hand was far too spicy for either of us to eat. That's not a bad thing per se but it's not to our personal pallets. If spicy shrimp is your thing I can highly recommend it. The vegetables were fantastic and the sauce used in them was a delight. My dish came as well presented as any pasta dish could. I found the sauce to be very tasty and the lobster was delicious. I was not expecting a full tail and that was quite a nice surprise. For dessert we had the cherry lime cheese cake, and let me tell you it was by far the best cherry lime cheese cake we have ever had. Quite possibly the best cheesecake I've every experienced. The ambiance was dim and intimate despite the wide open setting and large booths. The large booth was very nice Could sit 4 medium sized people quite comfortably. Service was top notch, our waiter was quite attentative yet not overbearing which led to a nice night out. All in all we had a nice time, and will probably return.

Our server Corbin was sweet and attentive. It was a large table of us. Young and old and he did an excellent job of catering to us. It was very loud and noisy around us so we had difficulty hearing each other. Poor acoustics. And there was a mix up about our reservation so we had to wait while they reset our table. Food was okay. Parking: It's free parking off an alley. Be careful parking in the alley. First responders need to be able to get thru. Or you could be ticketed. We had to let our older ones out by the door and then park out back.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Redding now. We came for happy hour. We had the Korean corn, blistered shishito peppers, and mixed tempura. For rolls, we got the Tsunami Roll, the Dragon Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and California Roll. I’m a shrimp tempura gal but I’ll have to say the Tsunami Roll has become my favorite. But our favorite thing we got was the shishito peppers. They were so, so delicious! We gobbled them up! We didn’t get any pictures because we were in awe of how good the food was. It hit the spot. The atmosphere and vibes were awesome, service was great and attentive for how busy it was, and the food was excellent. We will be back!
