Rasoi, which means cooking, reminds me of delicious food cooked by my mother back home in India. Many of my fondest childhood memories include sneaking into the kitchen for freshly made snacks, sweets and basically a handful of anything my mom made. As I moved to different parts of the world, I kept missing the aroma and taste of my mother’s creation of flavorful dishes. This yearning led me from engineering to becoming a chef. I learned cooking in the busy streets of Delhi, transplanted the flavors to the busy streets of NYC and finally settled as a Head Chef in Virginia Beach.
