Awesome place, if you have not been, your are missing out!
Delicious food. If you can get the fresh pulled mozzarella. Parking: Very hard to get a spot
My wife loves when I take her here on dates. Cocktails are great, Food is top notch, Atmosphere is very posh. Our favorite items were the Calamari and Tiramisu All the guys looking for a date night spot, this is the place.
We arrived at Prossimo last night, sans-reservation. They were booked, but the previous hostess gave us an empty table that had an upcoming reservation, but was empty for an hour til the people arrived. She snuck us in under a time limit which was more than fine with us! Our food was so good. The cocktails were incredibly interesting & yummy. We had the filet mignon & they were absolute perfection! What a gorgeous little place!! [Follow us on IG: @throwtherope & @cigpigs for more Frenchie & travel/restaurant content.]
Beautiful atmosphere: dark wood and muted lighting. Everything understated elegance. Food was exceptional. Halibut cooked to perfection. Meatballs and polenta delicious. Service was great. Server Andrew was fun and helpful without going over the top. This was our first visit. We will be back.
Visiting Tulsa from Indy, so I was taken here and I was AMAZED! The atmosphere was beautiful and my waiter Cory was very informative about the menu items and the history of the food and Italian words. When I told him I wasn’t personally satisfied with my spaghetti with garlic butter, he offered to bring me a new plate of it with marinara which I was SO appreciative of! I LOVE chicken parmigiana (parm), so I try it at any restaurant I see and so of course I had to try it at an authentic Italian restaurant. It was quite delicious, but it didn’t stick out flavor wise (although it was HUGE!) I loved the true authentic al dente in the pasta, just amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing everything! Lastly the bread and butter? AMAZING!! I wish I knew what ingredients were used to I can try to make it at home because my goodness the ciabatta bread was delicious! Everything was great and the next time I visit Tulsa, I will definitely come back!
My wife and I had the il Vero Alfredo. It was good the noodles weren't cooked enough. My friend had pappardelle colognes and he said it was great. His wife had the calamari and she said it was great.
Second time : Came here with a big group & the server was so snarky and rude the whole time. He was mad half of our party cancelled last minute but we told him at the beginning before we even got our drinks. He was like “well so that’s one whole table, that’s how we make a living” and then when the food came out, and folks didn’t hear the waiter boys calling out the food he was like “no one responded and so we sent the food back” keep in mind…some of it was wrong? So how would we know it was ours? Anyway, I wouldn’t book big parties here because if everyone doesn’t show up you get hit with a huge attitude. Mitchell or Matthew served us.. Still tipped him well but honestly he just was so rude and made us feel so bad over something we couldn’t control. First time : Great place for brunch & a lil $10 mimosa carafe! The service was great, a petite girl with reddish hair served us at the bar! First time here and i was super impressed!!
