Pizza Hut

I live 10 minutes away from this store and have ordered here many times. Last time they didn't make my pizza right and offered a store credit. Today when I tried to use it, not only did they not honor the credit, the manager flat out said "we don't have any record of you ever ordering here before so I can't help you". It's one thing to not want to keep your word for store credit and another to just not have basic customer centric approach. Disappointed considering Portola location is in a posh area and this is the level of service Pizza Hut provides. Regardless of the store location, don't trick a regular customer.

Very tasty, if overpriced Tavern style pizza. Poor customer experience and way too long for pickup, as well as insidious attempts at additional tip

They constantly forget to give the entire order, and also have a rude attitude towards customers.

The store is run haphazardly and they make mistakes all the time and get their orders wrong.

Only had 2 people working on a Friday lunch doing EVERYTHING, cooking, taking orders, answering phones…! I felt so bad for how overwhelmed they were. Not sure if this is a franchise but if so what poor management and totally inconsiderate of their hardworking employees

One of the original pizza places in the US doesn’t know how to bake a pizza, amazing. The dough has to be baked, last time I checked. Very disappointing.

Whether dining in or delivery (mostly), food is always good, delivery is fast, and staff/drivers are friendly

I was actually going to leave a review on the site. The Pizza wasn’t good at all and definitely not worth the price. It was very dry, the crust was like a biscuit or harder for both pizzas and was really hard that my son couldn’t eat it. I ordered also a litre coke but I got a very small one, it was maybe 225ml. I was not satisfied at all and I paid a lot for nothing. I would like to get my money back.

Pizza Hut on Portola Avenue in Irvine is GREAT!

Anything more annoying than a pizza place that tries to upcharge for cheese & peppers? Don’t think so!

My wife prepaid a mobile order for pickup at 5:15pm. She placed the order at 4pm. When I arrived, the order wasn’t ready. I waited 15 minutes. Defeats the purpose of preordering. Also, when I arrived, the cashier wanted me to sign a credit card receipt for the card my wife used to prepay the order. This card is in my wife’s name, and it’s not legal for me to sign it. And once again, it defeats the purpose of a faster preordering process. I believe this Pizza Hut store is doing this to solicit tips for prepaid carry-out orders. There was a tip line on the receipt she printed. If this is the case, this is soooooo annoying. Now we have to tip for pickup orders? Do I need to tip the pharmacist too when I pick up prescriptions? Tipping is getting out of control, especially in a state like California that has one of the highest minimum wages in the country.

It was ready quickly and when it was supposed to be but there were some mushrooms on our pizza that shouldn't have been.
