We stopped in before heading to the ferry. Very good food and service. Parking: Only 7 or 8 spots in front. Well worth the hassle if you have to park nearby.
After having their cranberry/pecan bread in a sandwich at a local eatery I really looked forward to buying a whole loaf. What a disappointment. I don't know if the small size loaf had anything to do with it but it really tasted old. Last cranberry loaf on the shelf purchased at 1:00. FYI: The parking is limited. While it is easy to pull into a slot it is horrible to exit. Personally I found the noise level to be too loud. Maybe 50% full but we had to put our heads together to hear each other.
Excellent waiter was terrific
The bakery has wonderful brewed coffee. It’s a full flavored dark roast. The staff is upbeat , focused and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the atmosphere too. Everything I have had has been very good.
Lovely place a cocktail and dessert.
We arrived at 9.45am on a Sunday and were told we can’t be seated until 10am or even wait on the table until the kitchen opens. My friend and I decided to order some pastries and coffee and have a seat on the to-go bar to wait. The person on the counter refused to put my latte in a normal mug instead of a to go one even after I asked very politely twice and told him I can bring my cup back to them when I am done if needed. He was very rude about it and said unfortunately ceramic mugs can be used only if you are seating in the restaurant. The fact that you are paying $6 for a small latte, they make you wait to have a seat even though the tables on the other side were set and you are refused to have your coffee served in a mug while you are waiting for a table is unexplainable. We were planing on moving to the restaurant part in 15min once we are allowed but ended up leaving. Very unpleasant experience for a Sunday morning.
The food was horrible, capuccinos were bitter even tho we put sugar. Sausages were raw, we told the waiter about these issues and he didn’t do anything about it. Not coming back!
unfortunately they were out of pastries after our delicious brunch on a Sunday. too bad the server didn't think to offer a different dessert, but we found a strawberry crepe for ourselves. go early if you want that raspberry croissant tower
