When Pagliacci first began its delivery service, deliveries were taken out of the Queen Anne Pizzeria. When the demand for pizza grew we searched for a new spot. The Valley Street Delivery Kitchen opened on September 27, 1995, transforming the Civic Center Motel from a property dominated by drug and prostitution activity into a hub of pizza and hope. The site was reportedly one of the first "motor hotels" in Seattle during the 1950s. With renovation, one two-story building was converted into a delivery kitchen giving lots of room for cooks to toss dough. The second building became Valley House, a transitional housing project developed by our founder, Dorene Centioli-McTigue. The store also offers beer and wine for take out and delivery!
