It's a decent place to grab a bit to eat. The food was tasty, with good portion sizes that were filling. Free fluffy white rolls were provided. Being in the south on vacation, I tried something from the southern selection as we don't see these items on a menu back home. I tried country fried steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It has onions and a delicious brown gravey. This is not a dish I have ever seen in New England. I did not know what to expect. The closest thing to this dish is a Salisbury steak, and it tasted very much like it. I would like some other souther specialty next time. The restaurant was not very busy when we were there. I think they were short staffed as most places are these days. We had to wipe a missed spot off our table when we arrived. We had the chicken tenders as an appetizer with a chopoltiee BBQ sauce. Tenders were hot crispy and tender inside. I would get these again. It was so nice to try this southern chain and avoid fast food while on this trip to the south.
Had a birthday party there and the staff couldn't do enough for us! Thank you O'Charleys!!
*Updated Review* Been going for years and had always been one of my favorite places to go but they fell apart after covid... with food quality suffering the most! However my last couple of visits there has been a steady improvement in the food quality. It not Pre-Covid O'Charleys but it's getting there.
The service was superb, our food was fine, and it wasn’t too loud in the dining area. All that I ask for in a casual restaurant!
If you've never tried their filet, do! It is very reasonably priced and us fantastic.
