Mr. Snapper's Fish & Chicken

Love coming here. Food is always fresh and the banana pudding is to die for!!!

Placed an order for 10piece wings and fries. Food is usually good but today the chicken was sour and no good. Opened the container and could smell that the chicken was bad,, I’m sure they noticed it too. Was already on highway so I couldn’t return, called and spoke to cashier who was nice and said Mohammad would call back. Still no call back! If you do stop here to eat make sure you smell and check your food before you leave. As for me I want be back again!

Update on this review…. The best chicken I have ever ate. So so good. Chicken livers are so crispy. We drive to Brunswick from a Jacksonville just to eat there. I had to update my review. It used to the best fried chicken. I have been there many time but the last two times the chicken was fried hard and so so small. Waste of $35. Tiny little shrimp for 10.00. Soggy and nasty. I told the lady about how hard the chicken was fried last time. I even gave a tip. Nope will not be back. She assured me that they would not fry it hard. I think they refry the cold chicken. Oh and the fries were stale. Only a handful. Not enough for a 20 piece. I am so disappointed. Had Popeyes the other day and it was delicious. I’ll just stick to Popeyes. They have lost our business.

Don't let the fact that it is right next to a gas station stop you- THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE! We regularly go to Brunswick to Hostel in the Forest and have been looking for "the best fried shrimp!" Today, we found it! Mr. Snapper's Fish and Chicken has generous portions, an excellent variety and delicious food! While the jumbo shrimp only came with fries, we added Cole slaw and were very happy with our decision! See you next time,Mr. Snapper's, for more Jumbo Shrimp!

Had the flounder and fries. Fish was fresh, hot and flaky. Plenty of food for the price. Great find off 95. Facility and staff could use an upgrade.

Stopped for gas and gave Snappers a last minute go....Surprisingly great shrimp and AMAZING hush puppies. Great job!

Best fried catfish I've had in a long time.

Had the 2 piece flounder (10.99) and mozzarella sticks. Came with tartar sauce, hot sauce, and a sauce that tasted like bbq for the mozzarella sticks. The flounder was tender and hot and the fries were fresh but not very salty. The mozzarella sticks tasted like they’d been under a heat lamp for a while and I wouldn’t order them again. The cashier was nice and personable. Overall, the food was good and the service was fast. I’d come again for their seafood.

Stopped here around 11am food was perfect and delicious hot fish and gizzard we will be stopping again.
