History We wanted to get authentic Indian cuisine to Asheville and were looking for a spot with high footfall. Downtown seemed a perfect area due to the tourists visiting during the season and the locals during the slow times. We were lucky to find the location we’re at and then started the story. We put together a team which believed in itself and did not compromise on quality and standard. Mehfil won a number of rewards in the first year including the best Indian restaurant from Best of Avl. We have a great team and are grateful to the community for the encouragement and support that we receive. Mëhfil brings you authentic Indian food in a beautiful, relaxed and traditionally decorated space.
