Not as many main course options as other Indian lunch buffet in area, but the chutneys are fantastic.
This meal was the perfect treat after a night of volleyball at Highland Brewing!! Pankaj, who was running the food truck, was so informative in helping us choose what to order, and the food was DELICIOUS!! We had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Samosas and both were so good. Thanks Pankaj for the hospitality and the delicious dinner- can’t wait to come back and try more.
We tried the food truck at highland brewery. It was a nice escape to have Indian food in a non traditional setting. We did try several meals but most impressively my teenagers did eat it. We also tried bites of their food. The tandoori chicken was very good but the Frankie was really good too. I don't think I cared for the sauce on it but it was nice. We also had the curry, korma and Tikka masala. All were excellent. Would love to try the actual restaurant one day if we travel through again.
BEWARE OF THE FOOD TRUCK Small wrap, (Frankie) was mostly dough with very little ingredients and way too much raw onion! There was no description so no idea a bunch of crummy french fries came with to fill up the rest of the styrofoam container. Worst of all I was automatically charged for a 20% tip ! When brought to attention I got the brush off. Such a rip off !!!
The service was very good and so was the atmosphere. The food was tasty; however, they use too much oil for our liking. One person in our party ordered the shrimp, and the bottom of the bowl was a puddle of oil. That, in itself, was very off-putting. Sorry, but cannot give Mehfil a 5.
Everything was good with bottomless mimosas! The Desserts section was good too. However, there can be little more range in the appetizers.
Best place for a low key, awesome food date. Drinks and food and sooo good. Wait staff is very helpful on food choices. Hands down great place to check out in Asheville.
This is a very authentic restaurant. The service is prime. Parking: It's always quite the to-do, searching for parking in a tourist city.
For the food tour, they put in a mi no buffet which was enough for a dinner. Lots of choices well made, excellent mango lassi, chili on the side for those of us who love a kick, good staff, and lots of seating.
