Mandu

If you know Kfood, you can’t rate this spot below a five for the taste. It’s simply amazing. However the mains are overpriced. I’m from New York and even there the prices are usually lower. Massive portions that might justify the price, but if you aren’t a big eater it’s only a waste of the food that is left over. Just giving my honest feedback.

와이프가 무조건 별 다섯개해야한다네요. 비빔밥과 순두부찌개 테이크아웃했어요. 평점 더 높은 식당도 있었는데 후기를 자세히 보니 여기가 나을 거 같아서 갔습니다. 참고로 직원분은 한국말 못하십니다. 비빔밥이 생각보다 양이 많았고 순두부찌개엔 해물이 많았어요. 저,와이프,딸까지 3명이 배부르게 잘먹었습니다. 감사합니당.

I specifically and clearly asked that my dish shouldn't be spicy (zero spicy! Because of health issues) and the result was a dense sprinkle of red spicy powder on top of everything. I could not eat it and I still had to pay for it. Very disappointed that a simple request like this was not attended.

While exploring the city, it was a pleasant discovery of Korean restaurant. I placed an order of Gamjatang. Water didn’t seem filtered because I smelled a strong water-tab odor. When Gamjatang came out, I was astounded and speechless because that food is not the Gamjatang that I have known for the entirety of my life. It’s too salty like other side dishes. I had to ask for another rice to alleviate the level of salty. Also, it’s overpriced. As a traveller from California, the price is a range of $18-$20, but this place charges you $28. I just don’t understand how the price was set. It’s way beyond market price for the quality.

I can’t believe this restaurant is named Mandu, the direct translation of which means dumplings, and when we ordered the only dumplings on the menu, it tasted worse than frozen dumplings from Costco. Over priced Korean food. Head over to Annandale for better quality food. Sad.

Nicely decorated Korean restaurant. In general, most dishes had generous portion size. 4.5 star for food. A bit pricey for Korean food.

2013년도 미국여행 중 들렸던 곳. 사장님이 넘 좋고 분위기도 좋구. 다시 가보고 싶은.

북미여행중 김치수혈이 너무나 필요해서 리뷰검색하고 굳이굳이 찾아온 집..... 밑의 유학생분의 마음이 구구절절 공감가며 가격은 착하지않지만 반찬이 정갈하게 네개 물 무한리필만으로 눈물좔좔 ㅜㅜ 싹싹 긁어먹는중에 감동받아서 씁니다 처음엔 우리한테 익숙한 김밥천국st 느낌이 아니라 좀 씁쓸? 짠?맛이 날수있는데 먹다보면 개맛잇게느껴짐.. 그리고 양도많아요ㅜㅜ
