They serve home cooked and authentic Thai food from a buffet inside York Central market. They have a great selection of vegan options alongside the meat. The options are always changing, but I’ve tried their vegan pad thai, vegetables, ginger tofu, a dish like spicy spaghetti with veg, and a spicy “chicken” which I think is made from dried bean curd or tofu skin. The couple running the place is very friendly and will tell you stories about the origin of their recipes. They showed me the vegan fish sauce they use and are happy to discuss ingredients in their sauces and foods. I think it’s the best spot for healthy whole-food vegan options in York Central Market today. And it sits among the best Thai restaurants I have tried anywhere.
