The food itself is good but not worth the high price. My server was really rude which hurt the whole experience. Also most of the menu was not available when I went. Definitely a lot of potential though, it is very yummy!
The clerk was able to communicate with me as a deaf person effectively!
Laoban Dumplings Review: Better Options Available
While Laoban Dumplings in Union Market offers okay dumplings, there are better options available in terms of both quality and value. Despite trying the soup dumplings and the pork and chive varieties, the overall experience didn't quite measure up to other vendors in the market.
$8 for soup dumplings with no soup. Every single one had clearly broken before they even put them in the container, they were completely dry and deflated. Really disappointing.
Service was horrendous:
The dining experience was an utter disaster, characterized by abysmal service and deplorable food quality. The staff exhibited a staggering lack of attention and courtesy, leaving us feeling neglected and unwelcome. The food, far from being a culinary delight, was an unmitigated disappointment. The dumplings were a pathetic excuse for this classic dish. Their dough was tough and gummy, encasing a meager filling that was both bland and uninspired. These dumplings were less desirable than dumplings from the frozen aisle of a budget supermarket. The remaining dishes we ordered were equally lackluster, lacking any semblance of flavor or finesse. It was as if the kitchen heated frozen low-quality dumplings and botched it up. The overall experience was a sorry excuse for a meal, leaving us hungry, frustrated, and determined never to return.
Best dumplings I've ever had!
Came all clustered together and could not uncluster them without breaking everything. Came out very gooey and not appealing. Very disappointing
