La Taguara Bar & Grill

I stumbled upon La Taguara Bar & Grill and was so pleasantly surprised! This Venezuelan restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The menu has a fantastic variety of authentic dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. I especially recommend the Brazilian steak – it was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. It's a fantastic spot for a casual meal with friends or a unique date night experience. If you're looking to venture beyond the usual culinary options in Madison, La Taguara is definitely worth trying!

First time at this location and now the food that it was already great feels even greater since the place it is gorgeously put together! I can’t recommend this place enough , every plate , meat or vegetarian, soup , arepas , empanadas etc everything it is just gourmet delicious food ! Go try this place close to Sun Prairie, the bar also looks great ! Forgot to mention , the prices are very decent too ! Another reason to eat more often and one of the best Latin food restaurants in the Madison WI area !

Haven't had a bad meal and that's all different meats, fish. Chicken. Beef. Pork. Everything amazing

La comida muy buena, pero la atención horrible, la mesera que nos atendió horrible tardó mucho en tomar la orden, luego más tiempo en llevarnos la comida, se portó muy grosera no nos dio servilletas ni nada para llevar la comida que no nos terminamos cuando queríamos pagar ni si quiera fue, tuvimos que pararnos a buscar a alguien y cuando nos dimos cuenta está sentada en una mesa con la Mayoría de meseros con su celular, al pagar todavía tuvo la descarga de pedirnos tips, HORRIBLE NO LO RECOMIENDO A otros amigos les a pasado lo mismo, la mesera era una chica latina, con peluca , si no le gusta su trabajo mejor que no trabajé.

Stellar food. We've been coming here consistently since they opened, and we haven't had a single dish we didn't love. I think the pork belly can be hit or miss. We usually opt for a steak dish, or arepas, and we always get the guava and cheese sticks for dessert. The cachapa is interesting too, definitely recommend to any cornbread lovers looking to try something new. And the cuban is a solid 8/10 for you cuban sandwich lovers out there, as well. Overall, so good Kid-friendliness: I take my kids here all the time.

Simply delicious everything we order came out fresh, their strawberry lemonade is so good! I recommend the llanera arepa, perfectly grilled meat!, also plates with plantains are really good!
