Been here 4 times just this year, it is THE spot for my sushi craving, the only comparably better place in the state is Kado no mise, that’s how good it is. The rice and vinegar balance is perfection - subtlety sweet and savory like fresh, slightly fermented grains. Soft yet never mushy. The kanpyo roll with the calabash gourd is the perfect texture with the rice, and their other offerings like pressed sushi and nigiri use a well respected seafood supplier that high end sushi places in the city use. The ramen is savory and authentic. I see complaints that the maki is small, keep in mind that they don’t have rice on the outside…California rolls originated from you guessed it, California…

Great ramen

Very good sushi and the best hotdog I have ever had.

Reasonable happy hour with a nice variety of options. Chirashi sushi bowl was a little light on the fish with only 3 pieces, but a nice variety of pickles and such. The fish was good quality however. Great service!

Awesome wait staff. Attentive and nice. Cool variety of food. We got the sobu hot dog which was good and fun. The salmon sushi was very fresh. My friend got the curry and loved it. We were so full that we couldn't eat dessert but it looked good!

BEST Japanese food I've had in Minnesota hands down! The staff was very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed at all times. I would recommend the Kara-age , and the ramen. If you like authentic Japanese food, then this is your place!!! Definitely deserves more praise

This place was incredible! Really good fish for way out here. Loved the happy hour beers and snacks! Great cod sandwich!
