We went to Kru to celebrate our 43rd anniversary. On being seated our waiter asked if we were there to celebrate anything. We told him our anniversary. He brought two flutes of champagne (1/2s). My son ordered a whiskey. The food was delicious. The whiskey was the most meager pour I've ever seen. When the tab came there was a $5 charge for the champagne we hadn't ordered. It's an expensive restaurant. Sad to cheap out on the whiskey and champagne.
The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and the food was quite good. We weren’t blown away by the food, but we were satisfied.
Pretty big restaurant with fancy design incorporating a lot of exquisite wood pieces. Fantastic service. We really liked the sushi rolls, though I felt there was a limited variety. Miso had little too much mushroom taste for me. Overall it was fantastic and I would come back again
So good just like in Japan. We ordered Chutoro carpaccio, poke trio, sunshine roll, 15 piece sashimi mix and a 25 piece sashimi mix. Will be back soon 😉
Unfotunately did not get to experience. Giving them a one star because I made a reservation two months in advance and just when my reservation is coming up, they cancelled. No call made to see if it can be rescheduled. The lack of follow through and inconsideration speaks volumes.
Best place of its kind. Way worth the wait!
It was worth the wait.
Long line up (on a Tuesday 😲), and took a while for the food to arrive BUT the quality of the food was waaayy beyond what I expected, and the service was really great!
An exceptional experience! This high-end sushi and Japanese restaurant uses fresh, local ingredients that elevate every dish. The presentation is stunning, and each bite is a perfect balance of flavors. A must-visit for anyone seeking top-tier Japanese cuisine!
Food here is no joke. Staff is rad also
