If you use the self checkout lanes, make sure you’re getting the right prices (and take picture of sale items to show attendants)!! Without fail, I always run into issues when I shop. Today was no different and I had to advocate for my sale price (plus a coupon) with the attendant giving me attitude about it! Here’s a little secret no retailer wants you to know: if they leave a sale sign up past the date, they have to give you that price (take a picture of it). If a retailer puts a mass amount of the same item in the wrong place with a better price than it actually is, they are supposed to give you that price (take a picture). Listen, with these current grocery prices, I am not going to let a single saving go.
I was just yelled at by the lady in the Deli for coming by her counter 3 times between 8:30 and 9:00. I saw the sign on the counter saying that the sliced meat counter didn’t open until 9:00. I was just hoping that I could get my sliced turkey for my wife. The first two times I came by she ignored me, I didn’t say a word. The third time I came by she exploded at me. I then proceeded to put all of my groceries back on the shelves. I’m not sure if I will ever go back.
This store's customer service is better than New Holland although smaller store.
Union workers, may be good for manufacturing job, but not good for consumer goods store. don't expect a friendly help or talk from a union worker, bcz they don't care. I wish them lay offs and close downs.
Today I placed a click list order which included items for tonights dinner. I received a call about 1.5 hours before time to pick up the order that they didn't have enough staff to pull my order and would need to cancel! (Order was placed 7 hours prior to me needing to pick it up). If this were only the first time this had happened, maybe I'd be understanding however its the 3rd time this has happened to me at this Kroger lately! Why would you accept the order? Why would management mot step in and pull orders or have back up staff to do so rather than cancelling the order? We have shopped here for almost 19 years and it has gone downhill so badly! In addition, this store is almost always out of stock, and the items that they have are out of date more times than not! I cannot WAIT for Publix to come in right across from our neighborhood near Kroger! They may be a little more expensive but you get what you pay for! Kroger will NOT have my business any longer!
Click list needs to check dates. Picked up an order on Friday Sep 30th with ground turkey with a sell by date of Sep 27th. Ridiculous. Pull the dates and when picking an order choose the latest dates just like a shopper would.
Update.....Continues to go down hill. In the last two weeks I have gotten rotten onions, moldy pepperoni, and a frozen pizza that was completely thawed. Also my last order was thrown in my truck I thought it sounded a little bad when they were putting it in but this is what I saw when I opened my trunk. Please put some training into your click list employees. This is the closest grocery store to my house so I really hate to change but I am thinking I might not have a choice.
