Based on multiple tips, and a random observation that, day or night, whenever passing this place when it is open, there are always always cars in the lot, we tried this place for a beer & burger and I'm so glad! It's clean, a renovated (but true to its roots) neighborhood bar, has excellent bar food, and friendly (if overwhelmed) service. The bar food and prices are on point. I had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time (from high-end fussy $20-30 bougie burgers to fast food drive-thru). I love burgers, and this one is a rockstar. It's simple but delicious, well cooked, and made with love. This is the sort of place that sets the bar by which I will judge othersl bars and burgers. Good beer selection, amply stocked bar, and fair prices. Well worth the trip! Parking: Parking on the street is often needed, but this is a safe, working-class neighborhood.
