Delicious food! Friendly staff. We talked to the owner for a bit. Glad they’re a new addition to the neighborhood. (Warmer and dimmer lighting would be transformative, though!)

The place is amazing. The staff might not be the most experienced staff but they sure are very friendly. The food is authentic. The Ghormeh Sabzi stew tastes like the ones you’d have back home. The owner is also a very nice guy who is present and oversees the quality of food, talks to the customers for feedback and cares about your opinion. Definitely recommend it. If you miss the food back home or wanna be introduced to the delicious Persian Cuisine or already love it, this is the place to go.

Everything here was delicious and was made with so much love and care. Highly recommend for a casual night out, a group dinner, or just drinks with a friend.

We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.

Such a great spot! So much flavor in all the dishes - from the fresh pickles to the dips to the stews. Highly recommend coming with a group so you can try a little of everything. Kind owner and staff made us feel welcome from start to finish too.
