I am working in St. Louis currently, and was trying to find a place for a St. Patrick’s Day dinner. After reading reviews of numerous Irish bars/pubs, I decided on this one. Parking was a little tricky, but not impossible. After all it was St. Patrick’s Day! I went inside and was cheerfully greeted! From the moment I walked in I knew I had made the right decision! There was a band playing, and the place was packed. I had to wait a bit for a table, but after eating I can say it was well worth the wait! I ordered the potato soup to start. Fantastic! I then had the corned beef and cabbage for my main meal; as well as a Guinness Zero. No disappointment here! As someone who was raised on this dish I can honestly say that this establishment hit a home run with their C&C! The potatoes, carrots and cabbage all well cooked and not at all mushy! And the corned beef was stellar! The Guinness Zero always a hit! Finished my meal with the bread pudding and thoroughly enjoyed that as well! My waitress was excellent even with the crowd! My apologies for not getting her name! So, if you are looking for an Irish bar with great staff, amazing food and all that comes with an Irish bar. This is your place! I will be back just to try the Guinness stew! Slainte!
Stopped for a bit of Irish today. This place has an awesome outdoor courtyard and fire pit. It was St Paddy’s Day but we still easily got a beer and their corned beef and cabbage. It did not disappoint with a side of horseradish! Yum!!
Terrific music, food, drinks, and atmosphere. Plenty of room to spread out with several bars.
Vegetarian options: Mostly of fried food like potatoes or fried pickles
Dinner was awesome. Our waitress was just wonderful. We wish we could have had a table inside but the outside was intersting too.
