IPPUDO SAN FRANCISCO

A very aesthetically pleasing ramen spot! My husband and I came here for dinner tonight, which we got the edamame, chicken karaage, and karaka spicy ramen! Everything was so delicious. The karaka spicy ramen was smokey, savory, and had quite a kick to it (so don't get it if you dislike spicy food). We will definitely be back the next time we are around the downtown SF area!

This veggie ramen has completely transformed my perspective on ramen! Absolutely a must-visit for a culinary revelation. It’s become a cherished weekly tradition, eagerly anticipated for its consistent delight and flavor-packed bowls. Unmissable!

Maybe it's because there's so many Ramen restaurants, but paying $40 for Ramen with extra noodles and a pork bun just seems too much. Having egg would have been extra though it should come as standard with nori. It was good but not $40 good.

First time and you don’t know what to expect and as you walk through the curtain it looks so cool the interior is really nice very open and spacious . Got in right away and food came out within 15 mins, very flavorful! A bit pricey for ramen but the flavor, atmosphere and service was so good I would go back again.

The flavor was good, however, the ramen only had two pieces of pork, yes, only two…. And full of fat, not even some meaty pieces. For that price, you would expect way more. It’s the first time I see a ramen with such stingy portion of the protein. For this reason, we wouldn’t come back. Also, when we visited the restaurant, there wasn’t any host at the entrance and we waited for 10 minutes and since no one came, we left. But since we saw it had such good reviews we really wanted to come back so we tried again at a different time and the same happen but after waiting for 10 minutes someone finally came to welcome us and sit us at a table. When we left, there were a group of people waiting desperately for a host and even asked us to get the host. I find this unwelcoming. Our server was nice, though.

Good quality ramen, just like the Ippudo in Japan!! Love the original ramen. Maybe the location is at San Francisco downtown, it’s on the high side! Definitely worth it!!
