Love our HyVee Market grille in Olathe. Was out in Liberty MO so thought I'd swing in to HyVee for lunch. Didn't realize it was a Wahlbergers. Had a cheeseburger tots and side salad. The side salad was minimal and not healthy at all with lots of iceberg lettuce in it. The burger was tiny but the tots were good. A big difference from our Olathe hyvee that has healthy spinach leaves and veggies in the salad and bigger burgers.
Very nice server made a suggestion and my husband loved it!
Phew, came up here today and Brooklyn wasn’t here and it was so nice to feel welcome and not feel such hostile energy. The three booths in the bar area didn’t have “reserved” placards on them either, being reserved for nobody. We weren’t given dirty looks when we came in or made to feel unwelcome either. We don’t like to sit bar side due to the fruit flies, but one time we tried to use the bar side booths and were very rudely told they were closed (with no one at the bar except.. you guessed it). Great experience this time around!
Came in for my Grandsons Birthday breakfast. His favorite place is Hyvee. He loves their pancakes. We arrive, get seated, very nice wait person. We get our drinks and menus. Our grandson says "pancakes please". We're out of pancakes, the wait person says. How does a grocery store run out of pancakes? He was very disappointed but he was barely ok with French toast instead. We almost left to go elsewhere. Weird!
Huge store. We'll stocked. Store saving money with few workers means long time at checkout.
Marketing maybe needs to strengthen the tie between what is on the menu, [The food item,(what is served)and where that item comes from, (that same store). Market to a person's ability to wonder and be entertained.
