Hokkaido Ramen House - Aksarben

We came into town for a basketball tournament and this place was literally walking distance from our hotel. Me and my girls walked in and were seated right away. Our waiter was amazing I don’t recall his name but the whole team who worked there had such great energy. One of the best ramen I have had. Thank you for the great customer service. The decor inside is amazing as well. We will definitely be back to support them.

I moved to Omaha about one year ago and this establishment tops every other restaurant in town in hospitality and being welcoming to their guests. Their food came out quickly, was hot, fresh, delicious, and was served with kindness. This was my first time here and I am already a giant fan and will become the most regular of regulars.

Ridiculously delicious Ramen. Better than the place on Dodge and 72nd. Better than the place in Westroads mall. The broth is so good... ethereal... don't know what other word to use... high quality frrsh ingredients. For real, real gochujang. I know cause my momma is Korean. Good chewy noodles...Best I've had in Omaha! The fried Oreos an awesome dessert. Sinful... felt like I had to go to confession after eating. Staff is friendly and funny. Decor (gangster movies and rappers, with anime and toys) is kitschy and eccletic but not overdone. All in all...A GREAT dining experience! Highly recommend to all.

this is definitely a shop that appeals to the anime-loving crowd. there are multiple tvs playing shonen anime and figures and posters all around the restaurant. this is usually a red flag for me, but i found the amount of options on the menu pretty impressive. i'm insane and got the hidden leaf with level 5 spice - my mouth loved it, my body regrets it - so i couldn't taste the broth super well over the reaper pepper extract flavor. i did taste my partner's broth though (garlic tonkotsu) and it was pretty good! not the best i've had, but not bad at all. the pork was a bit dry, but they were very generous with the portion. the marinated eggs were just PERFECT. our server was very charismatic and gave amazing service, and we even got a free dessert at the end. we tried the boba as well, and it's not very good, but not outside of expectations for something served at a restaurant like this. i'd love to see them get more options for toppings like shiitake mushrooms. we will definitely be going back - i'd like to properly try a bowl of their tonkotsu.

Nice layout, clean... Waitress arrived quickly... At every restaurant that serves it, we always get... Gyoza. (Not made in-house) so we expect a decent "purchased" gyoza.... Tasted as expected, good.. And of course.... Crab rangoon (Made in-house).. delicious, perfectly cooked, excellent flavor.. Omaha roll.. Me and William both thought these were excellent.. we highly recommend. Garlic Tonkotsu, added Angus brisket.. Very good flavors.. Wife is doing.... "Build your own" (wheet noodles, miso broth, been Sprouts, sweetcorn, egg, teriyaki chicken, sliced angus brisket) Wife said it was good, but chicken has a weird texture, but it's good... For dessert we had fried Oreo cookies. Absolutely delicious, this is an excellent way to end your meal.. Here are my thoughts: Yes, I've reviewed a lot of restaurants, but not a lot of Ramen houses.. So, my stepson (he has been to many ramen houses) has offered his insight. He said the price is on par, he said the food is good, and he would bring his GF, that is high praise.... Recommended by a local I struck a conversation earlier today. Has raving reviews, and I agree with the awesome atmosphere and super friendly staff, but the food left to be desired. And no. I did not get a full ramen, but you can extrapolate a lot from the broth and meat. Maybe it's a "me" problem by being used to a different taste (perhaps , but just something about it did not connect, specially the meat. It felt" canned" in taste and texture. The free dessert (deep fried Oreo or brownie or something akin to that) was superb though.
