Beautiful sushi. Fantastic service!!!
Food was good, the staff was nice, the assorted sashimi was my favorite
There were 20 of us, no reservation but they accommodated us, service was great, food was amazing and quick.
It’s unfortunate visiting our favorite Sushi restaurant in the southwest was a disappointing experience. Although the restaurant has experienced tremendous growth and success, its new location is focused on a “set menu” and loses its flair as a great venue find in downtown Phoenix. Elsie who was the attending Restaurant Manager on the weekend is just a paycheck collector. Makes her rounds around the restaurant, but not really interested in the customer experience. Less work is the best work is her attitude.
Asked her for recommendations on what to order, her attitude was poor and made recommendations like if you were at a Denny’s.
Overall portions are no longer innovative, but standardized for scale for a bar experience with Japanese food as its specialty. What a shame!
Poor service attitude from the Service leader and canned food.
For out-of-town visitors and locals, in this economy, spend your hard earned $$$ elsewhere. Success should not equate to arrogance and forgetting the formula that got you here.
Drove 40 min away to eat here to arrive at 8:47pm and told by assistant and manger that kitchen closes at 8:45. That is something that should be advertised in their website. I've own and operated restaurants and always honored guests if they show up before close
