I had an extremely disappointing experience at Happy Lamb. The food was so unappetizing that it made me feel nauseous after just one bite, and despite trying a few more, my experience didn't improve. Shortly after leaving, I even started to feel stomach pains. I cannot recommend this place.

i usually LOVE happy lamb, both east and west coast locations. however this will be the first and last time i ever visit the bellevue location. as a waitress myself i was shocked by the immediate attitude of our server, being incredibly condescending and rude whenever we had an innocent question (something as simple as where the restroom was). in fact we attempted to wave him down multiple times to ask which order the meats were in, although we were nearly halfway finished with our meal before we had the opportunity to ask. his immediate response to me saying ‘i’m so sorry, but do you know which order they brought out the meat? we were just curious’ was ‘it’s way too late for you to be asking me this right now. of course i know.’ and points at each item and what it is… which was helpful, however that’s how we then discovered they forgot one of our plates. with already feeling as though we were a complete inconvenience to him dining in his section, we did not end up asking for it (although i believe if we did ask it would have been the absolute end of the world for him)… i totally understand people have bad nights, as i’ve been there, but this was completely uncalled for and unacceptable. especially since we observed the way he interacted with other tables and it was a totally different experience. for us he literally only came up and took our menu / drinks, we flagged him for the protein question, and then we had to ask again for the check. everything was brought out by food runners, and the only presence we really found on the floor were busboys and actually various boh members (who were by far the most welcoming and friendly employees there). i deeply and sincerely hope our server tips them out generously, as they were clearly the hardest workers there. wish i tipped cash instead of card as i would have handed it to them directly.

This was the worst restaurant we’ve been to in years! I really don’t know how it stays so busy. Spicy broth was disgusting. Just tasted like oil - bad acid reflux the next day! Meats were cheap and some very fatty. Chicken wings were terrible. Just a taste of batter and oil. Ice cream tasted like they skimp on the cream - just like flavored ice in a cone. Sauce bar looks scary and is rarely maintained. Service is non existent - you have to hunt people down for anything - take your order, pay your bill, etc. Icing on the cake is it’s like $40 a person, plus tip, to feel disgusted and want to vomit. Pros: I don’t think I got food poisoning. Oh, and guys wiping down the tables looked to be working hard. Cons: terrible food, lousy service, dirty sauce bar and bathroom, they weren’t using their yelp reservation list, servers were not at all helpful or nice - I really have no clue who was running this place! It was just like the employees could do whatever they wanted. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more money, and go to Nan hot pot at Crossroads mall

For 2 people the ayce is pricey. We do love the food, meat t is always great quality but the ayce bar is never stocked fully, Sometimes you'll ask for marble lamb and they'll bring you out beef. I think a lot of it has to do with the education of the servers, there is a difference between beef and lamb and pork and Chicken. So if I'm ordering one cup of meat, and I'm paying a premium price for it. That's what I should get instead of what you guys just have in the back.. Sometimes you'll go and they'll have all the sauce stocked other times we'll go and they don't have all sauces out and service lacks when it's busy. So that's always, but prices go up. Front desk gal is rude and never care to follow seating specifications. She is just never happy. Why are you working here...its called happy lamb, and smile if you are going to be a host. Certain staff show favoritism toward their freinds and family, but that's to be expected. They always show us hospitality, but 175.00 for 2 people with premium option and drinks is still too much for hot pot. Prices need to be a little more fair if they want us to continue dealing with lack of service , partially stocked bar, watery alcoholic beverages , and poor attitudes. People are not gonna continue paying that much to put up with that. Parking: Parking SUCKS. BOOTHS ARE NOT BIG PPL FRIENDLY, wait is long at times get on the waiting list through Google or Yelp

Booths are very comfortable, not a very crowded feeling. Service is excellent, food comes out quick and is delicious. I recommend this place highly.

DESI APPROVED ! But read the full review first Went for a Saturday dinner. Being a first time hotpot eater, went in with lot of skepticism, but turned well at the end. Kids below 2 or 3 (I think) eat for free if you go with all you can eat buffet. Even if you dont ear beef or pork, there are plenty of options in meats - lamb, fish, chicken and shrimp, egg( fried rice). Veggie options - mushroom lot of types, corn, several greens, buns, noodles abd many more. (Authentic vegeretians- this is probably not for you, as bowls/silverware etc are common for everyone) I would not try this with my parents, to avoid an ear-full , but if you have parents who are ok with experimenting cuisines, then they would be up for a treat with this experience. Spice levels are moderate for desis, but quality of food is good. Dont expect typical desi level spicy. Definitely broths are not bland, they have meaty flavour depending on what you choose. Try it only as an experiment, if you get invited for a office party with team members, you can go without any hesitation. I went with family. Its a bit pricy but worth for the experience. Folks serving are very helpful, they explain everything and clear any doubts. My bill was about 110 for 2 adults and 1 child incl. a 20 tip for all you can eat + 1 drink + 2 salad bar top ups (3 each). Plan a minimum time of 2 hours, especially if you are with kids. Recommended Desi Course - all you can eat without premium meats option and salad bar top-up of 2.99 per head is must. Mix garlic, chilli oil and bit of sesame and it’s a must, else food might bit desi bland. Overall, I recommend trying it, if you want to cross this cuisine type out of your bucket list.

All you can eat hotpot is pretty tasty and fun! Lots of options for proteins and veggies to cook up. Broth is good and it was a fun meal for the whole family including a 4 year old.
