Hanami Sushi

This sushi place is the closest one that resembles the taste of sushi next to the fish market at Tokyo. Visited again in Aug 2022, the favorite roll, Toro Toro, was changed and now they put a piece of soy paper on the rug and then the chopped up Toro. It family does not like the new way that they are doing that. The extra texture of the soy paper is weird. The ponshu sauce is changed to some soy sauce also taste different but we do not like the change either. Will ask the chef next time if this is the new way that they are making it. If they do, we will not order it again. Visited in April 2024 and the Sushi Bar is back. Very nice!!

Gone there for years on and off had mixed experiences food is mostly good to where I decided finally after COVID not to go back because it was Not personal enough and not experienced enough waiters and definitely not friendly host.

It was closed although Google maps said it was open. It was the only one around that was 'open' so we specifically went out of our way to come here. Oh well. It's hard to find a sushi place open from 2 ish to 4/5-ish during the weekday. Cheers.

We have loved this place since we lived in the neighborhood years ago and had the pleasure of dining in more recently. The food is still as fantastic as we remembered. Our favorites are the cucumber sunomono, classic nigiri, and this crispy albacore roll. Everything was just as good as we remembered. Its position in a grocery store mall seems a little out of place, but it is definitely worth the drive, and the views in the area are gorgeous, too.

I was craving sushi but I couldn’t sit in so I got this order to go. This review based off of a pick up order, next time I’ll try to dine in. I ordered their salmon skin salad and their rainbow roll. The salmon skin salad was pretty good overall with a whole lot of salmon skin pieces. The rainbow roll was solid and delicious. Solid fish quality and rice, seaweed were perfect. I’d definitely come back to try their other menu items because it was a great meal overall.

Each time I've been, I really like this place. Great sushi, service, clean and welcoming staff.
