Great experience with family. Service and quality were phenomenal. We would definitely go back again. Kid-friendliness: Great food choices for our little ladies.
This was our first time eating here and I was a little disappointed, maybe my expectations were too high. The young gentleman that filled our waters and greeted us was very polite. The server Johnny was not very friendly, maybe he was having a bad night. The jalapeño margaritas were a little bitter and the pork belly starter needed to be cooked until the fat was crisper…but the flavor was on point. The beef stir fry was delicious as well as my husbands tuna. We ordered an espresso and a macchiato with crème brûlée for dessert. The brûlée was very good, but didn’t receive our drinks until well after our dessert was finished.
I enjoyed amazing Yellowfin Tuna with some very lovely local people from the Island. The bar manager was awesome and I highly recommend a visit to Halyards.
We had an amazing dining experience. We had been in the distant past. There were some new items on the menu brought in by the new chef, Dan. The pork chop, shrimp stir fry, and tuna poke all had so much flavor; their sauces were delicious. Our waiter, Chris C. was excellent. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. Donna, the general manager, came over and visited with us and she was so personable. We will definitely be back!
We had some great food here on our recent stay. I had the best shrimp and grits I have ever had, and that's saying a lot since I live near New Orleans. The girts were actually cooked perfectly and, most importantly, seasoned correctly. My mom had a burger and she loved it. It was a little loud in there, but that is not the restaurant's fault. Overall, I would love to eat here again.
