First time ordering, and the last! Smallest pizza for the biggest price! More crust than toppings, and weighed nothing including the box! I was embarrassed to show the italian family. I ordered 2 large, pepperoni and a deluxe. After tax 35.00 for 2 10" not large!
It is definitely a no-frills place, but we really like the pizza. We are obsessed with the cheeseburger pizza. The deep dish is good and their traditional is very good. If you are looking for flavorful pizza you will not be disappointed. I would not say however that the Chicago-style pizza tastes like anything I've ever eaten in Chicago, but I think that is just realistic that southern pizza is not going to taste the same. P.S. terrible, weak drinks.
Simply the best. A must-have when in Northwest Arkansas. Excellent drink specials!
As a local guide, I recommend you try Marley's on Dickson first. Came in to watch some football. Store is about 10% capacity. Stood at the "please wait to be seated" over 10 minutes while 2 hostesses helped check out a single pickup order. Asked why the wait was so long, the blonde told me that it was their policy to not seat anyone while an order is being cashed out. That would make sense if only 1 hostess is working, but 2? Do yourself a favor: if an order is being picked up when you arrive, turn around and go somewhere that can seat guests while orders are picked up, there should be plenty of competition.
I went to gusanos 4 days ago and had The worst Chicago style pizza I've had in my life. The crust was dry and overcooked. Service was good, but the wings were very average.
