We had a party of 6. We ordered the spicy shrimp Cesar but got charged extra for shrimp. Total number of shrimp that came on the dish was 4. The shrimp was a whole separate line on the check and it was $10. So $27 for a blacked spicy shrimp salad where the dressing tasted like a spicy thousand island dressing and there was A LOT of dressing. The menu said it came with shrimp but we had to pay extra for the shrimp? Wholly confused. When it came time to pay, we had 6 people so we suspected there could be auto gratuity but the payment device didn’t make it clear and the server was also unsure. I asked for the physical receipt and it showed auto gratuity, but the device in front of our face was asking for EXTRA gratuity - which is fine but it just seems like it’s being presented under false pretenses. I also ordered the jambalaya and it never came but luckily I asked about it before they even started cooking it so we could cancel it all together. Truffle yucca was good; sauce they came on top of was amazing. Crawfish chowder was super tasty, nicely spiced, great flavors and ingredients, there was something fried in it to give it an interesting crunch.
Overall, the food was amazing both in presentation and flavor. We had the patacones rellenos, yuca, maiz, and salmon. The service was mediocre. We sat at our table for a long time before the waiter finally noticed we were there.
Food was good/okay but service was lacking. When we arrived for our reservation we were told to wait. Then the manager came and told us they had overbooked and could not honor our month ahead reservation. They told us we could wait and see if something opened up. While waiting with our group to figure out our next move since we had already paid for parking they told us they could seat us separately. We said no that we came to eat as a group of 4. He said he would get us a gift card or drinks (never materialized) Then after another 5 mins they pushed two tables together and finally seated us. Left a bad taste in our mouths to say the least. Then we tried to order a drink, they were out, we tried to order a different drink on the menu and they were out again. Food took awhile and everything ended up tasting very similar. Not what you hope for when you come for a variety of tapas. Our server was nice and apologetic.
Had a good time here Calvin was our guy he gave great customer service explaining the menu he only been here 2 months but he’s cool had the lulu margaritas they were good had some tacos all we’re good didn’t like the shrimp taco apparently it comes with the tail on it in a taco uhh uh but the red snapper taco was great has a good time I give this place 8.5 would recommend. Omg the picture I include was of some Guava desserts that tasted like cheesecake. If I don’t order I come back I’m ordering back 10 out of 10.
We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious and William, our server, was great. Will be back here to try more, highly highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: Menu is clearly labeled for all allergens
Cool vibes. Even better food and service. Been there about three times and have never had a complaint.
A good idea of a restaurant but food quality was very low for all of the dishes we ordered as well as the cocktails. Dishes were under spiced with low quality ingredients. Cocktails were served well under a proper washline and overly sweet. Definitely one of the weaker restaurants in the area.
Just phenomenal food and drinks
I was there and honestly it’s disappointing food is over over price for what you get and small portions we other a pitcher of sangria which was cover with 1/2 of ice and cost like $55 basically paid $25 for ice service was great but definitely not coming back again
