Great date night spot

Great environment, food, drinks, and service!!

I was there for brunch and it was great! I had the avocado toast and my fiancé the crab cake benedict! Then, we shared the cinnamon roll. Everything was 5 out of 5! Besides the great food was the outstanding service from our great server JP. His great attitude and the amazing job he did really made this a better experience than it already was! He was 11 out of 10! His great attitude will cheer you up!

The service was outstanding and our dishes were outstanding!

In a charming spot, we found our feast, With laughter served, not in the least. A server so jolly, a comic delight, Made our evening incredibly bright. Easy to settle, in the bar we sat, The food was splendid, tip our hat. Affordable prices, a joy to report, A dining experience of the finest sort.

My friends and I started getting brunch at Green Pig Bistro in spring 2023 and it quickly became our "default spot." The food (especially the original stuffed waffle!) and service were always terrific. But today my impression changed. I made a reservation for outdoor seating (which their website specifically let me select) and when my party arrived, the host tried to seat us indoors without even acknowledging that's not what we reserved. When I told them our reservation was for outside, the host said their patio wasn't open at this time of year. This was odd for several reasons: 1) The website let me reserve an outdoor table specifically, and there was never any communication from GPB before we showed up to tell me otherwise; 2) They have tables and heat lamps set up on their patio; 3) It was in the 60s yesterday and today. As someone who is still not dining indoors due to the pandemic, this meant GPB was no longer accessible to me (or my party). We've always chosen GPB because of it's patio and service, but I found neither of those with this reservation. I'd strongly encourage GPB to remove the patio as a reservation option on it's website so others needing this accommodation won't bother thinking they can eat outside. Thankfully, we were quickly able to find an open patio just up the street -- and our party agreed we liked it better, so we'll be defaulting to that spot from now on.

The flavors aren’t quite as good since Chef Tracy has left. The restaurant is also under new ownership. The food is good but not great. Hopefully it will get better as the new chef gets more comfortable.
