I love this restaurant! I think it is the best in Temecula. Always when we would like to have an Italian food, we go there!!!
Wow! This is outstanding! The waiters were so nice and friendly!!!! There is 2 sections one section is fancy and if you come at the correct time you will have someone play piano and you don’t need anything special to enter this section just ask the other section is less fancy but still fancy, this place is kid friendly but I would bring kids over 7 years. My experience here was quite pleasant definitely recommend this place!
Food was ok, even though my chicken was overcooked and chewy. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. The layout of the tables put you very close to other tables and makes conversations difficult. It was stuffy and hot inside. We asked for A/C or fans to be turned on and it took until the end of the meal before the ceiling fans were turned on. Dietary restrictions: They do have gluten free penne and spaghetti available.
Another Italian restaurant that tastes like Olive Garden with 5 times the charge. The atmosphere is great and the service was good. Somewhere after the appetizers which arrived super quickly and were delicious (burrata and bruschetta), our dinner went sideways. The dinner itself took at least another 40 minutes to arrive after the appetizers. The red sauce for the gnocchi was too sweet and fairly bland and the calamari was incredibly soggy. The chocolate/nutella cake was delicious but the cannolis were horrible. We asked for the check three times but it took about 20 mins just for us to get a check from when we first asked them. All in all, dinner took us 3 hours and it wasn’t because of us wanting to stay longer to talk.
Stopped in during the weekday. The food was fairly good. No complaints there. Everything seemed like it was prepared well. I think my least favorite item was the initial bread they offer you. Service was a bit slow but friendly. It seemed like they were a bit understaffed like many places these days. I probably won't visit this place again since for the most part, nothing really stood out and it's fairly far from my home. If you're already in this area, it may be worth the drive in. Some of the seating in the restaurant is a bit tight as in tables are kind of close together. That didn't bother me too much but if you're near where people walk by like the door, your experience may be less pleasant.
Gourmet Italia is incredible. Perfect atmosphere for Date night with hubs. Our waiter was sweet, informative, and was there when we needed her. Thank you for a memorable night, we will be back soon!
