Amazing experience here! Family owned so there is a personal touch to your dining experience! Waiters/waitresses are all super nice and friendly, and provide insight and knowledge on the menu items. Owners come around on occasion and make sure everything is going well and up to their high standards. Their new lunch hours have been super convenient. Dinner is always a upscale vibe with a friendly atmosphere!
The food was excellent as well as the service. I will definitely be back.
The perfect combination of stepping into an old fiend's place for an amazing home cooked meal, and getting out for the night to relax in a cool atmosphere. Giorgio's has long been our place to go with family, or just the two of us, and we are greeted like old friends even if it's been a long while. Because the food is so reliable, and we tend to order our same faves, we often let them make us whatever they think is best, and it's always great. (Especially love the salmon dishes, and whatever chicken special is on the menu!) This restaurant has been run by the same family for years, now with the son in charge, and it's obvious that they want their guests to feel like they are a part of the family too.
My first time at this establishment and definitely not the last. A nice, family-owned restaurant with a great atmosphere and such kindness and professionalism from all the staff, from the hostess to the owner himself. The service was super quick with great quality food. At some point, the owner, Anthony, even came himself to ask about our experience and even took the time just to chat! He told us they were undergoing renovations, so I’ll definitely come again soon to check it out! My friend and I ate ordered the Fried Calamari, the soup of the day (New England Clam Chowder), the Tortollimi Porcini Mushrooms (with chicken), the Veal Principesa, and for dessert, the Tiramisu and the Crème Brûlée. All were above average without a doubt!
Giorgio’s is my favorite place to go to when my family comes to town! Being at Seton Hall, this restaurant has been a perfect place to go to and I’ve always had good experiences for my past 4 years here. The owners have been so helpful every time I’m there and we always look forward to seeing each other! Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area! Also they’ve recently opened up for lunch which has been a great alternative to the dining hall food.
I’ve been here dozens of times with my family and friends and it’s always a top-of-the-line experience. The food is high quality and delicious, and it’s always an enjoyable evening when we come here. This is the go-to place for us. We’ve even had several events hosted here and the restaurant owners always go above and beyond to accommodate and make it a very enjoyable experience!
I’ve been coming to Giorgio’s for years and it has NEVER disappointed. Best quality Italian food (get the chicken parm and Alfredo tortellini), best atmosphere, and best family owned business hands down. Their party room is perfect for big gatherings and their restaurant is equally perfect for quiet intimate dinners. 10/10
Giorgio’s is a must-visit, family operated, Italian restaurant. All - from the owners to the waiters - go out of their way to make you feel like you’re part of the family. Every dish is handmade to order and truly special. While dining, one of the guests at another table was heard raving about his order to the owner, exclaiming how it was better than some of the authentic restaurants in Italy he had visited. Truly a not-to-miss experience!
This restaurant is amazing! Small family owned so it has a real charm to it. Authentic Italian food was flavorful and fresh. We met the owner Anthony who is energetic and very friendly. Salmon here was amazing and Anthony made us a perfect cappuccino with desert. Would highly recommend and will definitely come here again soon.
